The Conciousness of Heart

We are deep in the thick of a powerful transit and transformation. London is in riot, the US financial system is taking heavy hits and the President is being called out to speak the truth, that our government is bought. This is another step in the dissolving of the world ego, the awakening of the earth world, our spiritual evolution and the transit into Age of Aquarius. Many people will not see the spiritual and energetic aspects of these powerful shifts yet, but they are the cause.

 

Some weeks ago I had a telling metaphoric dream. A delicate shell, reminiscent of a butterfly cocoon covered my human form. It had begun to crack and break into fragments, the thin, threadbare break lines spread up and over my head, down my chest, shoulders, and arms. They continued over my stomach and my legs until they reached the floor and the semi translucent shards slipped apart from each other, one by one they fell shattering into an unknown number of shards against the floor.

 

A new form emerged underneath, it shone brightly surrounded by a halo of soft, vibrating light. The form had always been there, hiding in the shadows under the clouded glass. It was, curiously still me, but somehow different; new, brighter, clearer, radiating a novel feeling, one I had dreamed of before, one I had felt in flashes of sublime tranquility. In a moment and a flash it had flitted past me and through me in glimpses of sweet raindrops that fell through my fingers as I tried to grasp and hold them, as I pulled them into my heart where I hoped to keep them in remembrance and later awaken them once more.

 

This morning vision permeated my third eye when I straddled the world between dream and waking. However it wasn’t just a vision, it pulled itself through the veil of the worlds from spirit into the physical. I lay in bed, my eyes half closed, I felt a tingle in my body. The sheets and blankets thrown back away from me, my toes stretched and curled as I immersed myself in the sensation of delightful rebirth. Another message, another step on the path of the eternal journey.

 

I delight in the recent days of summer where clouds and rain shade the day. The sun, transmitting codes of creation and change have some days transmitted so intensely a five minute sojourn under its rays gives me a migraine or painful brow centered headache. One sparkling sunny morn last month, while looking over my garden musing on which weeds to pull next and which plants were sure to bear fruit soon a whirling funnel bored into my third eye. As I crouched under the pear tree weeding among the squash plants I reeled from dizziness. It’s days like these I go easy.

 

The visions and dreams haven’t always been pleasant of late. There has been definite dark creeping about in the corners. Frazzled by the light, blinded into confusion. We know however we hold the power. Cleanse, create protective walls of light, stand in your power, create your sacred space. They like to play tricks while we sleep. Some nights I wake up to the slamming sound of something in the next room. Tricksters, or maybe it is a time past, a moment of unhappiness stuck within the walls of this often unhappy home I inhabit now. Those who made it so are gone, but their energy seems to stick to these walls, slowly unfolding and disintegrating into ether as I send it love and wish it away on a brilliant and bright cloud of light.

 

What we will become more aware of, and what will soon be more widely known and thought upon is the awesome power and intelligent web of the heart. This organ that pumps our lifes blood has been thought of, as I remember being taught in school, an organ of mere breathing function with no thought (as if breathing were secondary and inferior to thought somehow), of no intelligence like the brain, a slave to it, but we, those who are awakened with spirit have known the heart thinks, feels, and we see science catching on to this now.

 

The heart is a wielder of cosmic soul energy. The electrical component of our heart’s electromagnetic field is 60 times greater in amplitude then the brain and it permeates every cell of our body. The magnetic component of the heart’s electromagnetic field is approximately 5000 times stronger than our brain and the magnetic field can be detected several feet away from our body. A neural communication network links our heart to our brain and body and it is this network from which the heart communicates information to the brain and throughout the body via the electromagnetic field interactions. It is the heart that generates our body’s most powerful and most extensive rhythmic electromagnetic field.

 

Our emotional state is communicated throughout the body through the heart’s electromagnetic field. As we experience different emotions the rhythmic beating patterns of the heart change. Positive emotions of love, gratitude, and appreciation create smooth waves, ordered in coherent beating patterns. ‘Changes in the heart’s beating patterns create corresponding changes in the structure of the electromagnetic field radiated by the heart’. The rhythmic field of the heart has a powerful influence on processes throughout the body. ‘Brain rhythms naturally synchronize to the heart’s rhythmic activity, and during sustained feelings of love or appreciation, the blood pressure and respiratory rhythms, among other oscillatory systems, entrain to the heart’s rhythm.’ It is the heart that generates the pace and pulse of the rhythm of life.

 

What in this world and culture is considered to be masculine strength is often the denying of ones own feelings and emotion. To betray emotion is a feminine crime (or virtue). This stifling and burying emotion under layers of resentment is a symbolic death of the heart. It blackens and burns it until it eats away at itself, it cries in its cage and weeps to be let free. It begs for love, for recognition, and for warm tenderness. What has been thought of in many minds as weak, and anti-masculine is truly powerful; a show of emotion, and the honoring of it. What comes more easily to many of the feminine gender, because it is merely so accepted must, upon learning the strength and significance of the heart be paid heed to. We can no longer simply think with our heads, but we must think with our hearts and allow it to take lead.

 

We celebrate the shift of the ages on 11-11-11 this year, only one year away from the end of the twenty-one year cusp period between the Piscean Age and the Aquarian Age that began in 1991. The number 11, a transcendental number, energetically creates a great portal of light that so carries our consciousness into the new Age of Aquarius.

 

The earth has, as we each do, a field of energy that is comprised of ego, all that is false. That ego consciousness is breaking apart. It is not an easy process to transform, it dies and that death can be a painful struggle, the ego does not want to let go, it hangs on wielding fear as its weapon and deceit as its shield. The ego is all that is not truth, it is all that is not love, it is the decaying shroud that hides you from who you truly are – an infinite spirit, a being of source energy, pure love and all powerful. Wow, that was really powerful, thank you for sharing your story, I'm humbly honored to hear it. And your words of inspiration are very powerful and right on. I especially liked hearing the scientific facts about the heart being so powerful, because it is #1 and always should remain. I think (and I'm 34) my generation was raised to be overstimulated and needs to recover from that to even be able to hear what a natural heart beat sounds like and feels like, so that we can all move on gently with each other in grace and I'm glad I'm doing what I can for myself right now to transition into a finer being. And by the metamorphosis you've experienced, that's truly amazing to become a butterfly, good luck in flight! Sat Nam, Ek Ong Kar
